Cadaveric Hands-On Training · Endoscopic Sinus · Skull Base
A two-day, 100% hands-on cadaveric course in endoscopic sinonasal and skull base dissection — from endoscopic nasal anatomy and complete functional endoscopic sinus surgery through the frontal recess, sphenoidotomy and CSF-leak repair — built on a competency-based training model with one-to-one mentorship and plenty of time on the specimen.
This intensive two-day course delivers competency-based, 100% hands-on training in endoscopic sinonasal and skull base surgery, with integrated anatomy–radiology correlation. Faculty-led demonstrations are followed by guided participant dissection, progressing from foundational functional endoscopic sinus surgery to advanced frontal, sphenoid and skull base work.
Hosted by the Jazan Health Cluster at the University of Jazan, the program offers one-to-one mentorship, a competency-based training model and plenty of time per participant on the specimen, with limited seats to maximise hands-on practice.
Endoscopic nasal anatomy orientation with 0° and 30° scopes, key landmarks and CT/radiology correlation.
Uncinate process, maxillary ostium and antrostomy, and complete ethmoidectomy — the foundation of FESS.
Skull base safety, anatomical variants and the frontal recess from Draf I through Draf IIa/IIb.
Wide sphenoidotomy and advanced frontal sinus concepts opening the corridor to the central skull base.
Endoscopic septoplasty and turbinate reduction techniques to optimise access and airflow.
Management of nasal polyposis, a CSF-leak repair demonstration and advanced skull base dissections.
Learn directly at the bench with faculty alongside you, sharing operative pearls drawn from years of practice.
Two full days of 100% hands-on cadaveric dissection, from foundational FESS to advanced skull base work.
Each technique is demonstrated and then performed by participants, with anatomy-based, progressive dissection.
Integrated CT/radiology correlation throughout, with limited seats and interactive, delegate-led learning.
