Hands-On Cadaveric & Simulation Training
A comprehensive program combining expert-led lectures with a one-day foundational workshop and two days of advanced hands-on dissection on cadaveric and simulation models — spanning vaginal and abdominal reconstruction, mesh removal and complex fistula repair.
This program delivers competency-based training across the breadth of urogynecology — pelvic organ prolapse, midurethral slings, mesh complications and complex fistula repair. Expert-led lectures are paired with structured progression through vaginal and abdominal surgical stations on cadaveric and simulation models.
Hosted at King Fahad Medical City in Riyadh, the course brings together national and international urogynecology faculty for a small-group, station-based experience — 3–4 participants per station — designed to maximise hands-on practice time and one-to-one mentorship.
Applied pelvic anatomy, ergonomics in urogynecology, and electrosurgery principles for the cadaveric lab.
Pelvic organ prolapse assessment and planning, midurethral slings (TVT / TVTO), and autologous fascia slings.
Sacro-colpopexy, Burch colposuspension, pectopexy and retroperitoneal dissection on cadaveric specimens.
Decision-making and technique for TVT, TVTO and sacro-colpopexy mesh removal with international expertise.
Vesicovaginal and rectovaginal fistula repair, Martius flap, and lower urinary tract complication management.
Bladder injury recognition, ureteric reimplantation, and complication management simulation stations.
Learn from leading urogynecology and minimally invasive surgery experts, including international guest faculty.
Comprehensive cadaveric and simulation-based stations covering the full vaginal and abdominal repertoire.
Stations are limited to 3–4 participants each, maximising hands-on time and direct faculty contact.
A structured pathway from foundational procedures on Day 1 to advanced reconstruction and mentorship on Day 2.
